Very good views, I think it’s interesting to view how people reacted to this. one person even said I was a sore loser when I didn’t say one thing about the election, very irrelevant but hey I’m open to all answers. Also, it’s interesting to see how people take religion less seriously, that can all be related to people living longer (when you have a short life span your more likely to believe in something greater). No document loans are loans that require no paperwork, you don’t have to prove how much money you make or if you even have a job. lastly, I would like to remind everyone to have open minds towards media and have insight enough to realize bias, always look at things from every angle. I’m a Conservative, moderate on some issues, far right on others. Traditional marriage….with the divorce rate in this country, many people are beginning to view marriage as a legal document that divides assets, nothing more. That being said, who cares if *** people want to commit and be married to each other? Why does this threaten traditional marriage? Are people really THAT close minded? I don’t think there should be children involved in these unions, but I don’t have a right to tell another who to love and marry.
Abortion: Stop using it as birth control. Instead, prevent pregnancy the best you can, and if birth control fails, you’re a parent. Period. If carrying to term will kill you, an abortion may be necessary. If you’re raped, take the morning after pill or have a D&C to prevent getting pregnant and having to abort. Partial birth needs to be outlawed except in extreme cases (carrying to term may kill mother).

Taxing–
In theory, it sounds good to anyone who isn’t rich. Small businesses already DO NOT pay capital gains taxes. (so he isn’t giving them any break) In addition, many small business (those with even a few employees) are going to show a profit in the tax range that Obama has promised. This will affect so many things…costs of products and services, job availability and the motivation to even have those businesses. Many people pour their life into these ventures, and this plan is a sure way to destroy it. I believe that is the plan with the O admin’s goal to expand government.

Marriage itself is a legal concept. The moral side is kind of an iffy thing.

Taxes: Meant to be an incidental burden, not an onerous one. We pay taxes at the check out counter, at the movie theatre, at the gas pump, on our phone, light, water, trash hauling bills. We pay taxes when we buy tires, batteries and rubber hoses for our cars. We pay taxes when we buy and sell stock. We pay taxes when we buy and sell real estate. We pay taxes for licenses and permits. We pay taxes for playing cards, cigarettes, alcohol, ammunition, background checks for guns, for occupational licenses, and on and on and on ….
Taxes have to be reined in.
Poor people need to be given good jobs with decent wages. Handouts have to be finite and for temporary purposes only.
Competition is healthy. However, there needs to be some regulation so that no one industry can fix prices or control production in a way to manipulate prices and thereby crash the economy. Therefore, the producers, the cartels, the business trusts, the monopolies, etc. have to be regulated in a healthy way that promotes real competition and not some other type of unethical combination. Start with outlawing OPEC and now you know what Im talking about.
Competition in general should never be made “more equal” for some and less equal for others. That is unfair and inequitable.

Traditional marriage is a religious rite. As such, the government has no business regulating it or basing any benefits upon whether or not a person chooses to go through a religious rite. It would be the same as giving a tax break to someone if their son goes through a Bar Mitzvah. If couples want to establish a business contract joining their assets (civil union) then the government would have the right to recognize that. However, like any other business contract, the government should not mandate the genders of the persons wanting to make this business contract.
Right to Bear Arms—I feel that this is a right and should not be denied to any law-abiding citizen who has reached adulthood and has a sane mind.
Abortion—I believe that life begins at first breath. A fetus is a potential baby. However, since this is a subject that we’ll never really “know” for sure, I am willing to compromise that elective late term abortions should not be performed. If a person murders a woman in her last trimester, it is a double homicide. If he murders her in the first two trimesters, it is only a single murder. If during a late, second trimester abortion, the fetus is delivered breathing, that fetus is considered a baby and shall receive medical care regardless of the mother’s wishes. Rape/incest victims will be permitted to abort the pregnancy only if they file charges against the criminal (the victims almost always know the rapist).
No Document Loans—It isn’t against the law to be stupid. If you sign your name to a loan, you are responsible. No one forces a person to take out a loan. People need to be responsible for their own actions.
Taxes—Either a Flat tax or a Fair tax. No deductions, no loopholes. The existence of taxation is NOT to “make things fair” or to punish people who earn more. Taxes exist solely to pay for governmental expenses. Everyone pays the same percentage—regardless of whether they own a home, have children, itemized expenses, gave to charity, etc. Taxes were NOT set up to encourage particular behaviors by giving people more of a break for doing certain things. Everyone pays a flat percentage (Flat tax) or everyone can pay a national sales tax on new items that they purchase (Fair tax).
