Dows A RisinG- Long on YHOO-MRVL-ARHM- & Short on ODP-TIVO-AMD Why ?
0 Comments | Posted by admin in Uncategorized
The dow has risen from being wounded the last few weeks. This new infusion of cash, has come from some wealthy investors buying up all high yield stocks and some tech plays, so be careful on the upside. We can see a downside when Europe countries colapse or more rough news from worldwide exchange and Europe CNBC daily.
We remain short on TIVO, ODP, AMD and long on YHOO, ARHM, and MRVL , which are all internet and mobile phone stock.
We heard the WPRT is a great natural gas stock and also UNG, which is United States Natural Gas Fund, which we grabbed today at market open.
Natural Gas has been convered on Mad Moneys Jim Cramer, for last week and everytime he covers the Nat Gas sector, nat Gas goes up even more, it seems.
Happy Trading, just wanted to touch base and give some thoughts of two good recession proof stocks we think will do well, because of new natural gasoline demand.

United States Stocks Best & Worst Stocks To Own June 1st , 2010

Look for 2 days of small gains and a few days of drops this week, probably 3. We are keeping our shorts and have increased our position in Shorted ODP – Office Depot, with 5,000 shares shorted.
We have also kept AOL short 2,500 shares, while on the other hand, we purchased shares of Yahoo.com YHOO throughout the week, last week. We covered our position in TIVO, as we don’t gamble, as we made $8 a share on the way down.
We also bought shares of Symantec and will continue buying on this downward market , ” Norton ” See Google finance here, http://www.google.com/finance?client=ob&q=NASDAQ:SYMC
We also are buying share of MSFT at $24 when it hits that level. We feel, with the $21 recession price a year and a half ago, we think $24 will be a safe entry. MSFT we think will be $38-$55 in 12-16 months
As all posts on this website blog, from our loan sector, we use our own research and industry experience, to predict the future of trading.

Two Worse Financial Stocks On The Planet Are AOL & Office Depot For May 10th 2010
0 Comments | Posted by admin in Uncategorized
AOL & Office Depot have bad fianancials and future growth on this upside and growing US market. Was the market upside a sign of the times to buy US stocks, that are profitable, as of last 2 quarters?
The answer is Yes! We believe that you should have a diverse portfolio to include the even amount of stocks buying and shorting, so were exposing the shorts we picked in great light.
The worse companies as far as performance we believe to be AOL & ODP Office Depot Corp. Look at AOL sales growth here . See where it says N/A and then next year shows a loss.
Then you look at Office Depots Growth its all RED On Yahoo Finance. This company is looking at very tought times, as the months get stronger, with small businesses going broke right after the recession and banks not lending.
What we did as a example today, is keep our shorts of AOL & ODP despite the market gain and bought RFMD and BRCD as were pro Internet Sunami like Mad Money Jim Cramer endorses.
We still believe when AOL posts a $800 mm loss of asset value on Bebo.com or issues the next piece of news, AOL will futher continue to loose market share and post a loss of revenue quarter after quarter ( not including advertising.com, we believe from being a affiliate for years ) search engine .
AOL is switching top management and its our opinion Tim Armstrong, is now under pressure citing a HuffingtonPost.com article below, as they stated and is taking control and closing out large losses and buying shares of AOL to show confidence to those he reports to.
Heny Blodget, a top Internet Business Expert and CEO of Business Insider said this on his … ” AOL’s revenues are collapsing, and a turnaround will take years. Tim did a good job of preparing Wall Street for that reality prior to the IPO. What Tim did not do well was convey just how long and sustained the collapse of AOL’s core business was going to be. ”
It is our opinion that Tim Armstrong cannot do anything about his traffic loosing search engine” AOL.com. Newer generations, in our opinion like search engines named, Myspace, Google, Yahoo and Bing.com. See the Huffington Post article, which tells the truth behind the Tim Armstrong story. The Huffington Post, talks about Tim Armstrong screwing his original investors here.
We have not seen advertisment on commercial tv from AOL, as we think its search engine AOL.com is not attractive to new generations and the channel would be turned, as a facebook.com, google.com, yahoo.com, myspace.com, bing.com, youtube.com or blogger.com are the top names going foward in hourly usage. The AOL video section was shut down in 2009, as AOL closed its doors on AOL Videos and upset thousands of users, in our opinion will never do anything with AOL.com again, as we our company was one of them.
AOL only sent out a terrible put together email, which we will not disclose about 16 months ago, stating they are shutting down that division and for users to pull their videos before it shuts down. That email was written by someone that sounds like they didn’t have their coffee, sitting up in AOL’s building on a bright early long day. The email was taken, without regard to the hard work of internet users manual upload labor to get videos on AOL for years and for its visitors to pull videos off their system, which creates grunt work for AOL Visitors. Many people I talked to were upset and could not believe their hard work putting up videos to aol.com, went down the drain as for memories.
We see AOL loosing $3 a share in price each quarter for next 6-8 quarters, which makes a end result value of $10 a share in 1 year and $4-8 in 16-24 months.
Have a good trading day tomorrow till next time, Jeff
